Safety Pin Becomes…

I’m trying to create new artworks, which using the safety pins.

First, I twist the wire part of safety pin to straight then start bending and make shapes.

I have a nipper for cut, bend the wire (I bought for other artwork) but it is little bit large for this…

Anyway, I made few shapes by safety pins.

Treble clef, flying dove (logo mark of my school), eighth notes, and flower. A flower using 2 types of safety pin.

My favourite work is ribbon. I used 2 safety pins (same type) to make one ribbon. This was very hard because I needed to hold the both pins by a thumb and forefinger, then roll the end part of wire on the crossing part of pins. So my fingers hurting through transforming the safety pins.
