On 9th April, my friend had held the art/ photographyexhibition to raise money for children living below the poverty line in East Timor. I thought her idea and organisation were amazing. She was looking for the artworks that could be sold in exhibition, so I created 2 artworks and let her sale them. Unfortunately, I could not visit and see exhibition on 9th April, but I heard that exhibition was successful. She had raised around $2000.
I also heard a good news, that one of my artworks, “Umbrella” had been sold by $30!! I have given my artworks (including cards, illusts, etc.) to people before, but not sell them to people. Her exhibition gave me a great opportunity to show my artworks with my name in local community, and having more fans of my artworks.
